“In light of today’s numbers…we really need people to be 100 per cent all in.”—Adrian Dix, Health Minister

Henry highlighted that these new community outbreaks are “very concerning” to her and should be to us as well.

She urged British Columbians to stay home if they are feeling even the slightest bit unwell—saying that people may think it’s just the sniffles or allergies, regardless of what people think it may be, she stressed we must stay home.

Henry addressed employers saying that an outbreak can result in the complete shut down of their business and not see reopening until it can be deemed completely safe.

The total number of confirmed cases in B.C. is now at 1,795 while total number of deaths is at 90.

1,079 people have recovered in the province.
