SODA CREEK— DriveBC has issued an alert of a washout on Highway97.
The washout is located 4.82 kilometres south of McLeese Lake—the road is currently closed to motorists and an assessment is in progress.
DriveBC says detours are available; commercial vehicles are able to re-route using Hwy.16 and Hwy.5, while light passenger vehicles can use Robinson Rd. For updates go to DriveBC’s website.
