Cougars set to host Town Hall

Apr 29, 2020 | 12:25 PM

It’s an opportunity for fans to have their voices heard.

The Prince George Cougars announced early this week that they will be hosting their first ever Town Hall via Zoom.

The Town Hall meeting will be recorded on Tuesday, May 5th, and will then be posted to the Cougars social media.

The Town Hall will feature Vice President of Business Andy Beesley, Head Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb, and team President John Pateman.

“A lot of people are passionate in this community about hockey and the Cougars,” stated Vice President of Business Andy Beesley.

“We think it is really important that we are as transparent as possible as we can be with our fan base and also be able to listen to ideas. People have great ideas.”

It’s an idea which is very unique to a Junior hockey team.

However, if it does go well, the Cougars are hoping they can continue this in the future.

Anyone looking to submit a question for the Town Hall, which is scheduled for next Tuesday can submit them at https://pgcougars.com/

The deadline to submit questions is Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
