PRINCE GEORGE—The local cemetary has once again been the target for mischief.

Rob Nolin, a Prince George resident, and his wife visit the Prince George cemetary almost daily. Sometimes to help tidy up the graves, and other times to drop off flowers at graves who don’t seem to get visitors all too often.

But on Saturday Nolin bumped into something he wasn’t expecting, and took to social media to share his disbelief.

Someone had knocked over several of the gravestones in the cemetary. Nolin says the act saddened him immensely.

The Prince George RCMP received a report on Saturday, April 25th, of damaged gravestones at the Cemetary.

When frontline officers attended, they found a number of gravestones had been damaged and believe that the incident occurred the night before.

No suspects have been identified, anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.

The mausoleum at the Prince George Cemetary was the site of several break and enter thefts earlier this year.
