Regional District wants residents to be FireSmart when it comes to their properties
PRINCE GEORGE—The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is encouraging the community to become FireSmart, as Emergency Preparedness week runs from May third to ninth.
“Emergency Preparedness Week reminds us to be aware of the risks we are prone to and prepare ourselves and our properties,” said Anita de Dreu, Emergency Services Coordinator for the Regional District.
“Wildfire is one of the biggest risks we face and there are some simple things we can all do to reduce the risk of damage and loss due to wildfires.”—Anita de Dreu, Emergency Services Coordinator for the Regional District
