UPDATE: Fire causes $400 k in damages to downtown dental clinic: Video Update

UPDATE–PRINCE GEORGE–Damage is pegged at $400,000.00 dollars after fire ripped through Wellhouse Dental at 10th Avenue and Vancouver Street around 7:30 last night . Sixteen fire fighters from three firehalls arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the building. No occupants were inside .Fire crews had the blaze under control quickly.There were no injuries to any firefighters.The fire is under investigation at this time.

PRINCE GEORGE — Fire has destroyed an office building at 10th Avenue and Vancouver Street this evening (May 4).

The blaze broke out at around 7:30 p.m., no word yet on what caused it.

The office is called Wellhouse Dental. No word on any possible injuries.

Prince George Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Cliff Warner says flames were already visible when crews arrived.

Currently, traffic is closed between Victoria Street and Vancouver Street on 10th Avenue as crews continue to douse the blaze.
