Fire destroys large workshop on Foos Road

PRINCE GEORGE – The Beaverly Volunteer Fire Department crews were kept busy Sunday evening battling a large structure fire on Foos Road, west of the city.

The fire destroyed the contents and a large workshop which is estimated to be a loss of $450 thousand dollars. WATCH VIDEO:

Upon arrival, fire crews found the roof of the building had collapsed.

Assisting in the large blaze were several other neighbouring volunteer fire crews.

Sunday evening’s windy weather conditions spread the fire across the ground, but the quick response by crews prevented the fire from entering into the trees.

There was some heat damage to a nearby home and there were no injuries.
