Keep up to date with your child’s vaccinations

PRINCE GEORGE – While many health professionals across the province are busy treating patients COVID -19 symptoms.

Northern Health staff would like to remind parents and those with compromised immune systems to keep up to date with immunizations.

During the school season, public health nurses visit schools and administrate children needing vaccinations.

With many of the schools closed, health officials would like to remind parents to check if their children are due for their vaccinations. WATCH VIDEO:

Northern Health suggests if you have questions regarding your child’s vaccinations schedule contact your local health unit.

According to health officials, vaccinations protect your child from deadly diseases and it also keeps other children safe by eliminating or greatly decreasing dangerous diseases that used to spread from child to child.
