Signature arts event cancelled due to COVID-19

PRINCE GEORGE — The COVID-19 pandemic has forced yet another event cancellation in Prince George.
The Community Arts Council (CAC) says Studio Fair, which was due to take place this fall and has been around for 44 years, has been shelved.
“Current regulations prohibit large public gatherings and events, and our organization wishes to highlight the importance of community groups and businesses prioritizing public health as being foundational to planning programs and events this year,” says Executive Director Sean Farrell.
As an alternative to the live event, the CAC says it is exploring opportunities to create a Studio Fair online marketplace and will be assessing needs and viability, as well as opportunities for partnerships in this initiative, in the coming weeks.
