ICBC reinstates all knowledge tests by appointment, effective June 1

VANCOUVER—ICBC is expanding appointments to include all knowledge tests as of June 1, this after the succesful implementation of some knowledge tests on May 4th.

ICBC customers are now able to call and book appointments for any type of knowledge test at ICBC offices across the province.

According to a press release, ICBC says that scheduled appointments will allow ICBC to provide service to customers while abiding with physical distancing.

Customers are encouraged to come prepared to their tests by studying the learning guides and taking the practice knowledge test several times to give them a better chance of passing on the first attempt, as ICBC is anticipating a high volume of appointments.

To schedule an appointment customers are able to call ICBC’s driver license contact centre at 1-800-950-1498 and leave a voicemail message requesting a knowledge test, customers can expect to receive a call back from an ICBC representative to schedule a time and place.
