Kings acquire Buono from Centennials

The Prince George Spruce Kings announced Monday afternoon that they have acquired 2000 born forward Christian Buono from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for Future Considerations.

Buono finished the 2019-2020 campaign with 11 goals and 27 assists with the Cents last season.

Buono has 74 career points in the BCHL and hails from Burnaby.

“Christian is a veteran BCHL player who will provide leadership and will be relied on as a big offensive piece of our team,” shared General Manager Mike Hawes in a press release sent out by the team.

“It is exciting when you can add a player like Christian to the group.”
