Cougars acquire draft picks from Seattle

The Prince George Cougars made a minor trade on Wednesday as they sent the rights to unsigned 2002 born forward Stanley Cooley to the Seattle Thunderbirds for an 8th round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft and a Conditional 4th round pick.

Cooley spent last year playing with the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (Junior A), where he put up 15 goals and 29 assists.

The forward from Ottawa is committed to playing at Northeastern University this fall.
