WHL releases details on their return to play plan
The Western Hockey League concluded their Annual General Meeting Wednesday and was highlighted by the league’s Return to Play Initiative.
The league has appointed a special task force in each of the six jurisdictions to work directly with the government and health authorities.
This in hopes to ensure the health and safety of players, staff, officials, and fans.
The league has targeted a date of October 2nd for the start of the 2020-2021 season but is contingent on receiving approvals from both government and healthy authorities in all 6 of the league’s jurisdictions (B.C, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Washington, and Oregon).
