Nothing but Netzel

The UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball team announced their newest recruit Friday afternoon.

The team revealed that Jackson Netzel, a Senior for Caledonia Secondary School in 2018-2019, has committed to UNBC’s basketball program for the next Canada West season.

“I am stoked to play at the Canada West level and compete with the best teams and players in the nation. I want to see what type of impact I can have on the next level of the game,” stated Netzel in a press release sent out by the Timberwolves.

The product of Terrace B.C did spend this past year enrolled at UNBC, and had the chance to train with the team at the Northern Sport Centre.

Netzel is currently pursuing a career in Physiotherapy and is hopeful he can begin training with him teammates come the Fall and get to step onto the hardcourt with the Timberwolves in January.
