The honours from Hockey Canada continue to pour in for the Prince George Cougars.

This time it is a trio of prospects who have been invited to Hockey Canada’s Virtual Training Camp for the Under-17’s.

Signed prospects Keaton Dowhaniuk, Kyren Gronick, and Koehn Ziemmer have been invited to the camp, which will take place from July 19-25.

The three prospects are among 113 players selected to the camp. Three Canadian teams will then be chosen from the camp to compete at the 2020 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

All 3 players were selected by the Cougars in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

In addition, Cougars Equipment Manager Ramandeep “Chicho” Dhanjal was named Equipment Manager for Team Canada Red. This is the 2nd year in a row, which Dhanjal will take part in the event.
