City installs new curb drops to make parks and public spaces more accessible

PRINCE GEORGE–The City is making Prince George a bit more friendly to those with mobility challenges.

Ten curb drops have been installed by the City at City parks and public spaces. Curb drops allow for those with mobility challenges to get around with a bit more ease, as they offer a gentler incline from the ground onto a sidewalk.

Five of the new drops have been installed at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, three along Taylor Drive, including the Lheidli T’enneh Cemetery entrance, and two on 17th Ave. Four others have been installed at the Canada Games Plaza and one at Rainbow Park along Stuart Dr.
