RCMP search for more information on assault in Fort St. James

FORT ST. JAMES–RCMP continue to investigate after two youths were assaulted outside of a Petro Canada.

On Sunday, June 14, Fort St. James RCMP received a report of an assault on two youths behind the Petro Canada on Hwy. 27. Investigators discovered that the two victims were assaulted by three people.

RCMP have identified two male suspects, however, the third, a female suspect remains unknown. Further investigation led Fort St. James RCMP to discover that two good samaritans intervened in the altercation and helped chase the suspects away.

“We feel that these two people prevented the assault from continuing and causing further injury.”–Cpl James Potyok, Fort St James RCMP

RCMP are asking the good samaritans to come forward to try and move the investigation forward.
