North District RCMP investigate Homicide in Houston

HOUSTON–North District RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating a homicide in Houston B.C.

RCMP received a report of an adult male in medical distress on July 2 at 4:30 a.m. RCMP rushed to the residence located along Pearson Rd., where they discovered a 30-year-old male suffering from significant injuries.

“Sadly the victim, a 30-year-old man, was succumbed to his injuries at the scene.”–Cpl.Jesse O’Donaghey

Police believe the incident was isolated and that the public is not at any risk. RCMP say that the name of the victim will not be released due to privacy. The B.C. Coroners Service has been notified and is also investigating the circumstances surrounding the mans’ death.
