PG Famous Players not one of B.C.’s theatres set to re-open today

TORONTO—Prince George’s Famous Players is not one of the theatres set to open up today, according to a release from Cineplex.

The phased re-opening will see the opening of eight theatres across B.C.

Locations re-opening include:

  • Cineplex Cinemas Metropolis, Burnaby
  • Cineplex Cinemas Orchard Plaza, Kelowna
  • Cineplex Cinemas Langley, Langley
  • Galaxy Cinemas Nanaimo, Nanaimo
  • SilverCity Riverport Cinemas, Richmond
  • Cineplex Cinemas Strawberry Hill, Surrey
  • Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver, Vancouver
  • SilverCity Victoria Cinemas, Victoria

Cineplex says they anticipate the re-opening of the majority of their theatres throughout the month of July, including 16 other across B.C.

Movie-lovers visiting any of the re-opened locations will be able to enjoy $5 shows to popular new releases such as Bloodshot, The Invisible Man, Sonic The Hedgehog, Jumanji: The Next Level, Bad Boys For Life, Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, The Way Back and I Still Believe. Select markets will be showing a curated selection of films by director Quentin Tarantino.
