Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George.

“Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain this afternoon and evening,” says Environment Canada.

Environment Canada goes on to warn that large hail can damage property and cause injury adding “when the thunder roars, go indoors!”
