RCMP looking to recover Williston Ranger boat

HUDSON’S HOPE — A boat used to work in the waterways around the BC Hydro dams in Hudson’s Hope has been stolen and police are hoping you can help.

It was stolen early on the morning on July 6 from a locked compound on Dinosaur Lake Road at around 12:45 a.m.

“The boat is described as a 2002 28′ Aluminum Hull Eaglecraft and has the name of the ‘Williston Ranger’ with hull number C06415BC on the cabin,” says Cpl. Rob Gardner. “The boat was reported to be on a silver Road Runnermake tandem axel trailer bearing B.C. licence plate 09476J.” The boat trailer was recovered the next day in the Moberly Lake area though the boat remains missing.

He says CCTV footage is being reviewed to identify the vehicle responsible for towing the boat and trailer out of the compound.
