Fire Rescue responds to Sunday morning fire

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residential fire Sunday morning.

At approximately 5:15 a.m., 19 firefighters responded to a single-story residential structure in the 300 block of 3rd Avenue in Prince George.

On arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the structure. Prince George Fire Rescue quickly extinguished the fire.

According to the PGFD, estimated damage to the residence is approximately $45,000. Cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
