Update: Power restored to close to 1,200 customers on the Hart

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: Power has been restored to BC Hydro customers on the Hart. Crews continue to work on the outage north of Giscome Road.

Earlier: A power outage this morning on the Hart.

According to BC Hydro, 1,172 customers are without power from just south of Austin Road to just north of downtown.

The power went out at 9:47 a.m. According to BC Hydro the outage occurred when birds came into contact with hydro wires.
