YRB staff received “threats, insults, deplorable language” following Chief Lake Road incident

PRINCE GEORGE — YRB Fort George has posted a response via social media regarding an issue earlier in the week where seal coating laid by work crews stuck to the tires of dozens of vehicles.

Posting on Instagram, a new post acknowledged the issues caused for motorists and stakeholders, saying they have been inundated with calls and apologize for any delay in response. It also ensures YRB is investigating the cause and will post updates when available.

However, one paragraph reads, “…our answering service and office staff have received threats, insults, and deplorable language from callers when they are trying to gather information on our behalf. Please be respectful when calling in. We understand the frustration with the given circumstances, but common courtesy and respect is expected no matter the situation.”
