UNBC secures Sale for next season
The UNBC Timberwolves have locked up local shooting guard Cam Sale for next season.
The school made the announcement Monday afternoon.

The Prince George product has been watching the Timberwolves his whole life and now will get the chance to suit up for his hometown team.

“I think it’s going to be awesome. I am really excited for this opportunity, and I am proud to wear the UNBC uniform. To get the opportunity to under Todd and the great coaching staff, I am glad to stay at home as well, and play with good teammates. I have seen how fun it is to play here in front of my hometown. In front of friends and family,” stated Sale via a press release from the UNBC Timberwolves.
Sale played his High School basketball with the D.P Todd Trojans.
His Grade 12 year was highlighted by an incredible performance at Provincials where Sale racked up 10 three pointers in one game against J.L Crowe.
Sale also has a number of different accolades on the course.
A two time Provincial All-Star, a three time City All-Star, a two time zone MVP, and a zone defensive MVP.
Sale plans on taking his Bachelor of Arts at UNBC as he looks to pursue a career as a P.E teacher.
