Williston Ranger located

HUDSON’S HOPE — The Williston Ranger has been located though RCMP say it’s been dismantled.

The 28′ aluminum boat was reported stolen from a locked fenced compound located on Dinosaur Lake Road on July 6.

“On July 10, the Chetwynd RCMP were advised that an abandoned boat was found in the Moberly Lake area. Investigation revealed it was in fact the Williston Ranger,” says Hudson’s Hope RCMP Detachment Commander Cpl. Rob Gardner.

He says it appears the theft was planned out and that the boat was taken to an area where it was able to be completely stripped.
