The Prince George Spruce Kings have added another young blue liner to the club for next season.

The team announced Monday morning the commitment of 2003 defenceman Ben LeFranc.

LeFranc spent this past season with the Okanagan Hockey Academy where he finished with 6 goals and 12 assists in 35 games.

“Along with a tremendous work ethic, Ben is a very strong skater and an intelligent player,” stated Spruce Kings Head Coach Alex Evin via a press release sent out by the team.

“He has a lot of tools to hopefully develop into a really good BCHL player,” added Evin.

LeFranc has been a member of the Okanagan Hockey Academy since the 2016-2017 season.
