Heavy police presence downtown

PRINCE GEORGE – Earlier this afternoon there was a heavy police presence downtown on 7th avenue between Brunswick and Quebec street.

According to Prince George RCMP, they had attempted to pull over a vehicle for a driving infraction and the driver fled.

The police street crew unit assisted in apprehending the fleeing suspect.

The suspect is now in police custody.
