Six people facing charges in three separate drug investigations from last year

PRINCE GEORGE–Six people are now facing charges in three separate drug investigations that took place last year.

36-year-old Scott William and 30-year-old Katelyn Loutit, both of Prince George are facing several charges including, possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and careless storage of a firearm after PG RCMP’s Street Crew Unit conducted a search warrant in March of last year.

RCMP found more than 55 kilograms of dried cannabis, a significant amount of other forms of cannabis products, several firearms, ammunition and more than $550,000 in cash. The total value of the cash and cannabis is estimated at close to $1 million. Both are scheduled for court on September 23, 2020.

26-year-old Marshall Luther Cade, 30-year-old John Jacob Ceal and 27-year-old Shawn Brian Whaling all of Prince George are facing charges in relation to search warrants conducted in July of last year by local RCMP.

The search at residences on the 3800 block of 15th Ave and the 200 block of North Ospika Blvd. resulted in a significant amount of cash, cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl. The three are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, with Cade facing four counts. The trio will appear in court on September 23, 2020.

Whaling is also being charged separately from his previous charge with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a loaded firearm without a license. These charges are in relation to two search warrants at residences on the 1300 block of Irwin Street and the 200 block of North Ospika Blvd. in July of 2019. The searches uncovered a loaded prohibited handgun, a significant amount of cocaine, a significant amount of cash, and close to $100,000 in jewellery.
