PRINCE GEORGE- Local mounties arrested a 20-year-old Edmonton man after fleeing from police during an attempted traffic stop. Police tried to pull the vehicle over near 6th Avenue and Victoria Street just before 1:30 yesterday (Wednesday)afternoon, after the man was observed using a cellphone while driving.Multiple officers helped track down the driver.The vehicle was found abandoned on Brunswick Street a short time later, and the man was arrested near 7th and Victoria.The suspect was released and will appear in court at a later date, pending charges.
