PRINCE GEORGE – When life gives you lemons, it’s time for the Big Squeeze!
On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC will be holding their 8th Annual Big Squeeze fundraiser.
Unlike past years, the event will not be facilitating a city-wide lemonade stand competition due to the COVIDF-19 pandemic. Instead, only the restaurants will be going head to head to be crowned as the coveted “Big Squeeze” with proceeds of sales being donated in support of BBBS.

Even organizer, Jane Gauthier said the pandemic has forced them to get creative with the event this year, adding that due to the pandemic they don’t have a fundraising goal for this year’s event.
“We really wanted to help support Prince George and give back to our local restaurants as well. It’s really about getting people to come out and support local restaurants, and also give back a little bit to Big Brothers Big Sisters while you’re at it.”
Participating Restaurants:
Some local stores will be selling lemon-centric items in support fo the fundraiser as well. Blissful Bubbles Boutique, Cobs Bread, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and Farmhouse Catering will all be selling items with proceeds being donated to support the cause.
