Car Fire near Hixon

HIXON – A unusual sight along Highway 97 this afternoon.

A passerby snapped this photo on a vehicle on fire alongside the highway about ten minutes north of Hixon.

RCMP report that the vehicle was being towed by an RV when it caught on fire.

It was located out of the jurisdiction of Hixon Fire Department and it was left to burn beside the highway.

Obviously there was no one inside the vehicle and therefore no one was hurt.
