Crosswalk Strategy discussed
PRINCE GEORGE – Council received a report from Administration on the number of crosswalks that will see attention after more than two hundred went under the microscope. Of the 202 that were evaluated, 43 were identified as needing some form of work.
Two of the crosswalks are considered high priority for work this year. They are Ospika Boulevard and Davis Road and the second is more controversial. It is at Ospika Boulevard and 1st Avenue. That is where an accident recently occurred, in which a pedestrian was struck.
However, there was no word in the report of what kind of improvement would be going in.
