VIDEO: Man arrested after smashing windows of business in Parkwood Mall

PRINCE GEORGE—A man was arrested earlier this morning and taken to hospital after smashing the windows of a local business.

Prince George RCMP say they responded to a call at around 9 a.m. on August 19, of someone smashing windows at a business in the Parkwood Mall. Police say customers and staff in the business sheltered in the store while police were called.

When police arrived they took a 29-year-old man, who recently moved to the area, into custody. He was then transported to hospital for assessment.

Police say that several windows have been damaged and no injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
