Police ask for help locating man to confirm well-being

FORT ST. JOHN— Update: RCMP say Kane has been located in Alberta.

Earlier: RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 45-year-old man.

Eugene Kane is believed to have last been seen in Fort St. John on August 20th but is believed to be in Alberta where he has a residence. Police say they received a report on August 20th to confirm Kane’s well-being. Police say he is driving a 2015 black Ford F-150 with Alberta license plates BFV5703.

Kane is described as:

• white male
• 5’7″
• 180 lbs
• short, sandy-blonde hair
• blue eyes
