UPDATE:Motorcycle-truck collision at the bottom of Peden Hill

PRINCE GEORGE – UPDATE: A 36 year old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding, ran into the back of a pick-up truck stopped at a red light, near the bottom of Peden Hill yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

Immediately following the collision, police received several calls from the public providing information about the riding behavior of the motorcyclist before the collision.

The motorcycle rider received a provincial violation ticket for driving without due care and attention and received a $368 fine.

EARLIER: Motorists beware: A two-vehicle crash at the bottom of Peden Hill has slowed traffic this morning.

Prince George RCMP say it happened at around 9:30 a.m. and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.
