‘We are continuously exploring ways to offer more face-to-face instruction’: UNBC Winter Semester
PRINCE GEORGE—Students are moved in and ready to start learning atop University Hill, but what will the Winter Semester look like?
“The coming academic term is going to be different from any other we’ve experienced at UNBC,” said UNBC Interim President and Vice-Chancellor, Geoff Payne in a UNBC Coronavirus Update on Sept.8, on the University’s website.
“Everyone at UNBC has gone above and beyond to ensure we are ready for this unique semester. From faculty members who have adapted their courses for alternative modes of delivery, to the incredible team at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology who provided expert assistance, to staff members in every department who worked diligently to maintain service levels, thank you, thank you, thank you!”—Geoff Payne, Interim President and Vice-Chancellor, UNBC
The update says that UNBC is continuously searching for more ways to offer face-to-face in class instruction to their students, however, that many courses will be offered through alternate modes of delivery.
