Spirit Day event tomorrow at Prestige Hotel

PRINCE GEORGE – The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation is holding their annual Spirit Day fundraiser tomorrow at the Prestige Hotel. The River and The Drive will both be broadcasting live on location from 7 am to 6 pm, as well.

The fundraiser was formerly known as the radiothon, but was re-branded 3 years ago to Spirit Day, as it is known now. Since it’s inception, the event has raised over $680,000 towards equipment for the University Hospital of Northern BC.

Curtis Mayes, Community Giving Coordinator at the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation says, “it’s usually here at the hospital, but this year because of the current restrictions we are doing it at the Treasure Cove Prestige Resort.”
