Sep 16, 2020 | 6:00 AM

PRINCE GEORGE–The 29th annual Take Back the Night march will be held virtually this year.

Take back the night usually hosts a march in memory of women who have not survived violence; to celebrate those who have, and demand an end to all forms of violence against women.

Starting September 17 through September 24 Take Back the Night will begin posting daily updates on their Facebook which will include speakers, information, and community postings of walks and protest photos.

“We can and should be able to walk down the streets of our city safely and on our own. While this year we may not be able to walk physically together, we will be united through our words, actions and fighting spirit which demands justice and safer streets in our community.”– Release by Take Back the Night
