Prince George RCMP seeking priority offender

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted on several arrest warrants issued this week.

Prince George RCMP say that the BC Prosecution Service has approved a rash of charges against 29-year-old Prince George man Colin Michaud Durrand:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Fail to comply with probation
  • Fail to comply with release order

RCMP say these charges stem from four separate incidents that occurred since July 2019.

“Durrand is a priority offender for the Prince George RCMP and is believed to pose an increased risk to public safety,” says Cpl. Craig Douglass. He has a history of violence.”

Durrand is described as:

  • White
  • Six foot 2
  • 168 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Police say Durrand was last known to be living in Hixon. If you see Durrand, you’re urged not to confront him but to call police instead.
