Quicker voting registration to end Monday

Elections BC says residents can register to vote in the provincial election by phone and online until Monday.

The elections administrator says voter registration will still be possible after that deadline but it will take longer.

It wants voters to ensure their information is up to date now so they can vote faster, help reduce lineups at polling places and support physical distancing on October 24.

Vote-by-mail packages can also be requested online or by phone.
