RCMP warn motorists after dangerous driving incident in 100 Mile House
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are asking the public to be on the lookout for a notorious dangerous driver.
At about 5:10 p.m. yesterday, a businessperson in the area of Save-On Foods contacted RCMP about the presence of a man with a BC-wide driving prohibition. The man was driving a white, circa 2000 Acura two-door coupe with a rear spoiler and black hood. According to 100 Mile House RCMP, the car was likely another colour but painted white after it was stolen, which is “common practice” for local car thieves.
The driver was wearing a mask, sunglasses and a grey hoodie at the time. Witnesses said the man had a passenger in the vehicle.
When an officer arrived at the scene and tried to pull the Acura over, the driver did not stop and began heading northbound on Highway 97.
