Economic recovery front and centre

PRINCE GEORGE – Economic recovery was front and centre at this year’s Union of BC Municipalities convention, which was held virtually due to the COVID pandemic.

“Across BC, we need help,” says Brian Frenkel, the new President of UBCM. “And I think that’s the message you see from all sizes of local governments, whether it’s regional districts or big urban centres.”

There were a total of 11 Special Resolutions the UBCM Executive will be tackling over the next year.
