Kiwanis AleFest cancelled

PRINCE GEORGE–Kiwanis AleFest will not be taking place this year.

The event tweeted out their cancellation yesterday afternoon (Oct.1), saying “due tot he current pandemic we are unable to safely host our event while adhering to the provincial guidelines and keeping everyone safe.”

The tweet was then followed by another saying, “P.S. we are working on some exciting things to get you through this year.” And asks avid AleFest goers to “stay tuned” as more will be released in the coming months.

Kiwanis AleFest is an annual craft beer festival held on the last week of January. The festival features two Brewmaster’s Dinners, three tasting sessions and an all weekend Cask Beer Experience. The event was started back in 2015.
