For the 2nd year in a row Cougars netminder Taylor Gauthier did not hear his name called at the NHL Draft.
This after Gauthier had a career year with the Cats.
Gauthier appeared in 50 games with the Cougars and had a 2.93 GAA with a .917 SV %.
The Calgary product was also one of five goaltenders selected to Team Canada’s World Junior camp.
Despite being passed over for the 2nd year in a row, Gauthier will remain eligible for next year’s NHL entry draft.
