RCMP investigate second Bellos Street shooting
PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are investigating yet another shooting.
The latest occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. this morning (Oct. 8) near Bellos Street in Prince George.
“Multiple frontline officers including a Police Dog Service team attended the area,” says Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass. “One residence was cleared by officers for public safety. Three adult occupants were located and uninjured. Investigators obtained statements and located evidence confirming shots were fired. The suspect or suspects fled the area before police could be called.”
This is the second shooting on Bellos Street in less than three weeks. The previous shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. on Sept. 21. Police arrived to find firearm related damage to a home. No one was injured and no arrests were made.
