Coming up: B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer will update COVID-19 case count information

PRINCE GEORGE–Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry is set to address the province this afternoon on updated COVID-19 case count information.

The update will cover four reporting periods (Friday-Saturday, Saturday-Sunday, Sunday-Monday and Monday-Tuesday).

Since the last update on Friday, the Northern Health region was sitting at a total of 331 test-positive cases–since the start of the pandemic, with 13 active cases, and one person in hospital who was also in ICU.

There have been a total of three deaths in the Northern Health Region since the start of the pandemic. 315 people have recovered from the virus in the north.

Dr. Bonnie Henry will address British Columbians this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
