PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Humane Society is announcing a new partnership that would help create sustainable animal management plans in First Nations communities.

A Facebook post by the society says they are “proud to announce that we have partnered with Spirits Mission to continue our mission working with First Nation communities creating sustainable animal management plans.”

“We recently met with other rescues across British Columbia to discuss their model for a humane community development plan. We look forward to working closely with the communities that have expressed interest in developing programs.”–Facebook Post by PG Humane Society

Spirits Mission works with remote, isolated, or underserved BC First Nation communities to help create healthy companion animal populations for the health and safety of people and animals; by creating long-term and sustainable animal management plans.
