Applications open for second round of COVID-19 support funding

PRINCE GEORGE–The United Way of Northern BC is now accepting applications for its second round of funding of the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF).
ECSF provides financial support to charities and other qualified donees adapting their frontline services to support vulnerable Canadians during the pandemic.
“It truly is a privilege to be able to support so many agencies through Canada’s ECSF. This second round of funding will take the supports one step further to providing what’s needed for the vulnerable in our communities across Northern BC.”–Trista Spencer, Executive Director, UWNBC
$288,000 will be distributed to those organizations that meet the criteria. Application intake will take place until October 30th. In the face of this pandemic, in addition to the usual challenges life presents, our vulnerable, and the agencies that support them, need help more than ever.” Says Trista Spencer, Executive Director, UWNBC.
