PRINCE GEORGE – The Bob Harkins Public Library Prince George has modified the access to its building because of the ongoing construction and pandemic.

Recently the staff had to learn how to adapt when it comes to delivering in-house programs.

Most of its programs are now moving online to help slow the spread of COVID. During the pandemic, there are several digital resources available on the library’s website.

Since the end of July, the public is asked to grab a book and go. To help reduce the spread of COVID.

Other changes include a slight decrease in hours, the public is now greeted by a staff member at the entrance to review the library’s safety plan.

Because of safety concerns, the second floor is closed to the public.

The Bob Harkins Branch is open for limited service Tuesday-Friday 10 to 6, Saturday 10 to 2. The Nechako Branch is open Monday-Friday 10 to 6.
